6320. When the angels flow in they link affections [to the ideas they bring in]; and those actual affections hold countless elements of affection. But of those countless elements only a few are received by the person - only as many as can be attached to what exists already in his memory. Everything else the angels bring in surrounds what is received by him and so to speak holds it in its bosom.
