It applies to children's behaviour towards parents, and parents' behaviour towards children; servants' behaviour towards masters, and masters' behaviour towards servants; subjects' behaviour towards a monarch, and a monarch's behaviour towards citizens. Whoever among them does his duty for duty's sake, and what is just for its own sake, exercises charity.
